This story is exactly 75% true. Even though I’m mostly known for nonfiction and all its “constraints,” I don’t honestly think there’s a very big difference between fiction and nonfiction. In both forms, I think the main character is always the narrator (or who they want to be) and authors are always just writing about things and people they know or want to know better. As such, yes, I did go to a show with my friend, Erin. Yes, most of the events occurred. Yes, there was a strong ambiguity in our feelings. But making this story 25% fiction gave me the platform to finally make sense of all the craziness between us, when, really, there was no sense to be had. I can create truth from fiction using the 3-Quarters Method.
